About Us

Our History

The Nottingham Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre (NMSTC) was set up in 1984 with the aim of enabling people with MS, their carers and their families, to manage the effects of the condition by alleviating the symptoms and improving their quality of life. Read more about our history here.

Present Day

Today, we continue to be a member led charity offering a relaxed environment and practical help through subsidised therapies. In particular, the Centre offers Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Physiotherapy, Reflexology, Hopi Ear Candles, Massage, Aromatherapy, and advice on various topics.

Although still predominantly offering support to people with MS, our open minded approach has led us to open our doors to people with a wide range of conditions that benefit from the therapies we provide.

Persons wishing to use the facilities at the Centre are required to join as a Member.

Our Future

As many of you are aware, we are hoping to move to a new centre in the next year or so. We are currently doing a survey of the areas where our members live in order to find the best possible location for a new therapy centre. You can read more about our future here.
